Diversity Information Session
The Beyond Borders: Diversity in Cannes Pre-Cannes US Information Session and Screening Series is a US based extension of the program initiated in March 2012.
The information session serves as a resource for those interested in attending the Festival de Cannes. Topics covered include travel, accreditation and the all important Cinefondation consisting of The Atelier and Residence Programs. The goal is to promote awareness such that diverse populations can take advantage of all festival offerings as knowledge of and participation in these exclusive programs will ensure the presence of the underrepresented story at the Festival de Cannes and beyond.
In conjunction with the information session, the screening series is held state side to expose US filmmakers to the films presented at the Festival de Cannes. Since 2012, we’ve screened 12 films from the Short Film Corner to showcase the work of diverse filmmakers while providing examples of the quality levels required to participate in the Short Film Corner at the Festival de Cannes.
The Pre-Cannes Information Session & Screening Series presenter is available to speak globally to groups interested in learning more about the Festival de Cannes. Contact us for details.
